History: It takes place in the second biggest city of Russia Saint Petersburg but has the global value. A small studio Tin People was established in 1990. A team of people create and manufacture what they consider entertaining and what they are proficient in. Everyday work and lunch breaks, inspiration and new creations, exhibitions and recognition, fiascos and empty pockets, controversy and consensus, meetings and partings, hope and evolution. We are the ones who believe in the success as a result of honest labour.

Creations: Original tin figure of limited edition, hand cast of tin alloy and hand painted in acrylic and tempera.

Logo: The logo two men holding of their hands and staggering along was invented by a 6-year old boy Egor from Petrogradsky District of St. Petersburg. It is a clear world, free of the illusions of the adults.

Identity: Clear, simple notions are translated into our creations with tender humour and irony. We don't create our tin figures in conformity to fashion. We don't produce collections of knights and Persians. We find inspiration in Giotto, Breigel, Gaudi, Effel, Tarkovsky, U-2, Nord Wind.

We bring to life our vision of the world and we have chosen two rare directions:
• XX age we were born in. It is our tribute to our predecessors.
• Christianity. We are trying to live in conformity with our faith and to do our work honestly.

Our figures are unique and are designed for a sophisticated collector connoisseur of history and a romantic discoverer. The figures might serve good souvenirs for various occasions. The figures are designed for pleasure.

Philosophy: Man's life is the highest miracle; it involves joy and sorrow, expectations and frustration, self-devotion or incapability to be one's own master. Every Figure has either historical background or is the result of our converse. The secret of our products is in their elegance and humanism. We have faith in man who can alter for the better and live for love and this faith helps us create our products. The most important thing is to be optimistic. Our name Tin People is about us; strong and weak, smart and silly, rich and poor, kind and proud.
